District of Minnesota's U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services carries out probation and pretrial services functions for the federal judiciary within the District of Minnesota. U.S. Probation and Pretrial officers investigate and supervise persons charged with or convicted of federal crimes. They serve as the "eyes and ears" of the federal courts.
