COVID-19 Information and Restrictions

In accordance with the Administrative Order issued March 26, 2020, the U.S. Marshals, Court Security Officers, and Protective Security Officers must restrict specific persons from entering a U.S. Courthouse in the District of Minnesota, to include ALL U.S. Probation Offices.  No person within any of the following categories is permitted in a U.S. Courthouse or U.S. Probation Office, both in the District of Minnesota:

  • A person with, or anyone who has been in contact with anyone diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19);
  • A person who has been asked to self-quarantine by any hospital or health agency;
  • A person who has traveled to and from China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, France, Germany, or anywhere subject to a quarantine; and
  • A person experiencing a fever, unusual or unexplained cough, shortness of breath, and/or flu like symptoms.

The U.S. Probation Office remains open; however, persons under supervision (this includes those recently released individuals beginning their term of supervision) who meets the restricted categories above must inform their assigned Probation Officer and NOT report to the U.S. Probation Office.  Your assigned U.S. Probation Officer will contact you for further reporting instructions.  When contacting Your assigned Probation Officer, please provide the following contact information: Telephone Number (Personal, Work, and Mobile) and email address.
